Life in the Eastern Bloc
The end of September marks my fourth month of living in Berlin. My wife and I had a vague notion of moving out here in June, and less than thirty days later we were on a plane flying out of Los Angeles. It has been a great experience thus far. Tons of design here. It seems like everyone I’ve met is either a designer/artist, programmer or musician. We’re enrolled in full-time German language class which is really opening up the city for us. The first couple months were mainly figuring life out here and seeing as much of the city as possible. Now its more about finding the little gems hidden throughout the city.
